Class Action

Typically a legal action begins when someone initiates a claim based on being injured due to the fault or negligence of another. But did you know that there are times when it may be believed that another is at fault for common injuries and that when this happens it may be possible for an injured person to fight for compensation simply by being a part of the “class” of persons similarly injured. Locally this happened in conjunction with the BP oil spill but also has happened in relation to harm caused by taking certain medicines or from exposure to harmful substances like asbestos.
